Joel and I have a cat and a dog. If you ask Joel, though, he'll just say he's got a cat. He isn't too fond of my dog, Lucy, mainly because she has "accidents" in the house. She also nips at people. And she smells. But, for whatever reason, I love her and he puts up with her because of that. So, because of the "accidents" he makes her wear this:
Yes, everyone. That is a diaper. She has two because she invariably will pee in one during the day, so we have to wash it and need the other to work into the rotation. We've had her checked out and she's fine physically, she just doesn't like to hold it, I guess. She's fine when we're home to let her out, but during the day, she wears the diaper.
I think she's cute, though, and I like having her around. Most of the time, anyway. She was an only pet for a long time, but this Spring, Joel and I decided to get a little kitten. Introducing, the Amazing Peanut:
Peanut likes playing in boxes:
Or laundry hampers:
Mostly, though, he likes playing video games with Joel:
Lucy and Peanut have an uneasy truce, I'd say. Lucy tries to ignore Peanut and Mr. Peanut tries to pick fights and eat Lucy's legs. I think they have fun together, though, and I'm glad that Lucy finally has someone to boss around. Besides me, of course.
