I know if you saw this, you probably thought to yourself: "I didn't even know Carrie was in Boston taking a tour of Fenway Park!" Well, I wasn't. For once, someone else is getting attacked by birds. It's not me! Phew. Sorry if that scared you.
I'm having a hard time paying attention at work because we're going to Mexico next week for Jess and Sarah's wedding and I have no idea what I'm going to wear. To the wedding AND just hanging around. You see, for reasons unbeknownst to me, all of my clothes have somehow become smaller. It's like, every single item of clothing I own looks exactly the same, but they have been replaced by clothes that are just 1-2 sizes too small! Who would do something like that?
So, instead of writing stuff about shit at work, I'm worrying about what I'll be wearing in Cabo. Very important stuff. To make this even more difficult, I changed offices a few weeks ago, so now my computer screen faces the door and everyone can see what I'm looking at on the Internet when they walk by. LAME! It is seriously cramping my style. I am getting a lot more work done, though.
My main problem is, I have a very specific pair of shoes that I want to wear to the wedding. They are not the ones I just bought, but they are ones I bought on ebay a few months ago and they are pink peep-toe sling-backs and they are gorgeous! However, do you think that there are any dresses out there that I can buy to wear with them? Nooooo! I did have a dress in mind, but, as you read above, somehow it was replaced with a dress that wouldn't zip up all the way so I have to start from scratch.
I've looked on the Internet and at the mall. There's one I saw at the Gap outlet in Park City a few weeks ago, but then I'd have to go all the way up there and I'm lazy. Like, REALLY lazy, you guys! It would take almost 30 minutes to get up there and then I'd have to walk around and then drive back and jad;kdaj. Sorry, I just passed out from thinking about the energy I'd have to expend to get up there and back.
Speaking of lazy, I want a Scooba. We have about 40 square feet of linoleum that I hate to mop and I want a robut to do it for me. I got the idea last night when Joel was watching Battlestar Craptastica. I started thinking about how cool it would be to have a Cylon mop my floor and I remembered that they make a Scooba that can do that! I mean, sure, someday the Scoobas and Roombas will rise up and take over the Earth, but I'll be long dead by then! Somebody bring me a Scooba!
Maybe I'll be able to teach the Scooba how to bring Mama a drink and I'll never have to get up from the couch again!! Of course, Scoobas don't have arms, so I'd have to make the drink, put it on Scooba's head and then run over to the couch for the drink delivery. There has to be an easier way!
So, this weekend I need to get: a dress, shorts that don't make my legs look horrible, cute tops, and a Scooba. Phew! I have to go rest for a little bit. Just thinking about all the non-internet shopping I have to do has really taken it out of me!
I also have a lack of clothing for the Mexico adventure. I swear I bought summer clothes last year, but now I can't find them. Perhaps we should combine forces on a shopping adventure....

Pally, can't I just give you a list and my credit card and then you can send me pix messages of what you find and I'll approve the purchase? Or, I guess we could go to the outlet mall, but you'd have to push me around in a wheelchair because the air is so thin up there! OR, even better, I could get a Rascal and drive it around.
