This continues a series wherein I post pictures I have taken on my camera phone. We only recently got a digital camera, albeit one that is just one step above the camera on my phone, so I have quite a few pictures that have been trapped on my phone. Until now. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you: My Dog with Unnecessary Accessories!
This is Lucy wearing a fleece leopard print hat, of course! My mother makes us fleece hats for Christmas every year. One year, she had made a hat for my niece who was 3 months old, but the hat was waaaay too small, so she offered it to Lucy. A couple of safety pins and a length of elastic later, voila! My dog is looking fiiiiine! I even have a hat that matches it, but I'm not exactly sure where it is. That was about 6 moves ago, so I'm sure it's in a box in storage somewhere.
This is Lucy wearing a cone. I can't remember why I had to get her this cone and I know that she wasn't hurt or recovering from any procedures when this picture was taken. I just thought it was high-larious! Don't you? I think a lot of the comedy is lost here, though, because you can't watch her try to walk around in it and run into walls and furniture. I'm surprised she hasn't ripped my throat out.
Please ignore all of the shoes and various other items lying around on the floor. Besides, you should really be paying attention to the dog with a WITCH'S HAT in the middle of the picture. I don't even think it was Halloween! Isn't that the funniest thing ever? It's so festive! I should have tried to take her trick-or-treating like those people who dress up their 6 month old babies and go around begging candy off of everyone in the neighborhood. IT'S THE SAME THING.
And, finally, this is Lucy with a bow taped to her head. This bow came off of a package at Target and I immediately thought: I should put this on Lucy! And then I remembered I had this cute little dress, also from Target, that would match the bow. Isn't she just the belle of the ball?
Please don't worry about her living with a crazy person, either. She was not harmed in the making of these pictures and she was paid handsomely in Tiny T-Bones, which are her favorite treats EVER, so I don't feel badly about taking them.
